Nong Bua is a subdistrict of Chai Praken located in the Chiang Mai Province in Thailand. It has a population of just short of 17,000 people. The area is dominated mainly by the Khun Tan Range which stretches across the whole of Chiang Mai. Agriculture is big business here amongst the residents as the small nature of Nong Bua means that not many tourists are attracted.
