Nakhon Nayok is located in the centre of the country. Whilst the northern part of the area is dominated by the Sankamphaeng Mountain Range, as you head further south the area becomes flatter, with this location being formed by the Nakhon Nayok River. The area is famous for the wonderful fruits that it produces, and it has a pretty active rice farming community. Owing to its ‘natural’ landscape, ecotourism is currently all the rage in the province. Like any other province in Thailand, the area also has plenty of temples in the area for those that are into religious tourism.
