Lopburi Province is located near the centre of Thailand. It is located in between the Lopburi River and the Pa Sak river. The majority of the province is covered in plains and hills, with the Phetchabun Mountain range dominating the east of the province. The economy is fuelled by a number of industries, this includes mushroom farming on a large scale at the Khachonwit Mushroom Farm, as well as local weaving which is shipped all over Thailand. There is also a booming tourist industry here, with the majority of the focus placed on the numerous temples in the area. One of the most popular sights is the Sunflower Field, people flock from all over the world to see these between November and January.
